Clinical History:
77 year old female with llq abdominal pain. Clinical suspicion for diverticulitis.
Findings:
Dilated loops of proximal small bowel; heart shaped mass with internal gas at the transition point. Incidental gallstone.
Impression:
Heart shaped jejunal mass (boezar) causing small bowel obstruction.
operative diagnosis:
Small bowel diverticulitis causing an obstructing boezar from the diverticulum.
